Frequently asked questions

Which languages and countries is it for?

The app is currently in Turkish and is built for Turkish accounting: trial balances based on the Uniform Chart of Accounts (Tekdüzen Hesap Planı), Turkish corporate tax returns and financial statements published on KAP. Side-by-side balance sheets like those in bank analysis screens can also be read.

Which files can it read?

Trial balances exported from accounting software (Excel, CSV, PDF), financial statements published on KAP and side-by-side balance sheet tables. Trial balances prepared under the Uniform Chart of Accounts are summarised in an IFRS layout.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. The file is read on your phone; calculations and insights are produced on your phone. Summaries are stored only on your device and can be turned off or deleted in settings. You decide where your backup is saved.

Does it use AI?

No. Insights are produced by clearly written rules and formulas. Every finding comes with a "how it was calculated" explanation.

Does it replace my accountant?

No. Bilanly is a summarising tool; it shows you what to look at when you talk to your accountant. Each finding also includes a question you can ask them.

Is it free?

The scorecard, statements and insights are free. Features such as the PDF report, period comparison and group total are unlocked with a PRO subscription, available only through the App Store or Google Play.
